NSW, Victoria could shutdown shopping centres tonight | Sky News AustraliaShopping centres across New South Wales and Victoria could be shutdown as early as Sunday evening, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. \n\nIt’s understood the two states will push for the move at Sunday’s national cabinet meeting. \n\nSupermarkets, butchers, bottle shops, petrol stations and convenience stores will remain open under the new plan. \n\nBut Mr Clennell said it’s unlikely the measures will be branded as a further “shutdown” or “lockdown” as the state and federal government’s look to move away from that language. \n\n“The language around these when they happen, as I understand it, will be about more restrictions. They’re going to stop calling them lockdowns or shutdowns because of what that does in our community,” he said. \n\nHe also said that the federal and state leaders are in lockstep on what industries they would like to remain open - construction, mining, manufacturing, banking, and energy - but at contention is the timing of when to move into further restrictions. Should have shut weeks ago People do not conform or care Selfish And then they will head to bunnings. bunnings 🤦‍♂️ Should of shut long before
