Cowra and the Yass Valley were both plunged into seven-day lockdowns on September 20 due to increased COVID-19 transmission in the two regional LGAs.
Stay-at-home orders for the Cowra LGA will be extended until 12:01am Tuesday, 5 October, due to the risk of ongoing COVID-19 transmission.— John Barilaro MP NSW MP Steph Cooke who represents the seat of Cootamundra which includes Cowra said the decision was “not made lightly” after being informed by of the public health order by Health Minister Brad Hazzard.
“The stay-at-home rules will remain the same and I respectfully request that we all abide by them in order to protect you, your family and the whole community, particularly those most vulnerable.”
So extension for cowra but port macquarie gets cases and no lockdown? Are they punishing McCormack & non lnp electorates?
