Living on the edge: Skyscraper skylarking puts lives at risk

At least three teen boys risked their lives almost 100 metres above Queen Street Mall when they gained access to the roof of one of Brisbane’s most prominent inner-city hotels and precariously balanced on the rooftop ledge.saw the three “rooftoppers” on top of the 27-storey Hyatt Regency – formerly Lennons – about 12.30pm on Thursday.One of the young males, wearing a backpack, stood on the ledge of the building, his toes clearly seen hanging over the side.

“We immediately alerted the police and members of our leadership teams went to the rooftop to investigate the situation,” she said.
