Victoria heads towards a 'second bump' in cases, after 41 new positive coronavirus tests were revealed on Saturday, including 15 believed to be linked to community transmission.

Yesterday Deputy Chief Health Officer Annaliese van Diemen characterised the latest surge in cases this way:

"Our case numbers are increasing, so when you look at our overall epidemiological curve there will be, and I'm hoping very soon, a second bump or a second peak, and so that is what this is."This is not something any of us have experienced before. "We will continue on a suppression strategy and, as our Premier and multiple others have said, we know that cases and outbreaks will continue to occur, and we are really just doing our best to keep absolutely on top of them."

Give a $1500 reward to catch the virus, what would you expect. Vic labor wants to destroy Victoria.

With Victoria heading into cold and flu season, and the PCR test not a reliable method for detecting isolated covid-19, its not surprising that there will be an increase in cases, of which will be harmless for 99.9% of people.

CLOSE THE BORDERS BEFORE EVERYTHING IS FORCED CLOSED AGAIN!!!

Heads towards peak? Lol, don't tell me, Dr Norman Swan will have a podcast on it next week. FFS!

Is this right? “On Saturday, 15 of the latest 41 cases were recorded as community transmission.” Aren’t these 15 CT previous days’ cases the contact tracers have finished investigating?

Victorians stay safe. Alert. Australia cannot be complacent.

You can watch her press conference live in our blog. She’ll just confirm what we all know: that she doesn’t know what to do. There was always going to be cases silently moving through the population. But I really think the question now is, is it still a dangerous strain or is it mild? If we are continuing to get rising numbers simply from random testing, is it posing a risk? How's it effecting people? I'm not too sure we can trust her, after her expressions of distrust and contempt for our society.
