I've read a few reader comments raising concerns that no update from Victoria this morning is a bad sign.
Victoria is scheduled to give an update in about an hour's time. We will bring that information to you as soon as we can. Hopefully we will have a live stream. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said about 20 per cent of customers who were receiving the deferred payments had begun repaying their mortgages again, but those who cannot due to the coronavirus crisis will continue to be supported by the banks.
Mr Frydenberg encouraged mortgage holders who could make repayments to do so and that those who could not due to COVID-19 to work with their banks to find alternative options.
I'm not too sure we can trust her, after her expressions of distrust and contempt for our society.
There was always going to be cases silently moving through the population. But I really think the question now is, is it still a dangerous strain or is it mild? If we are continuing to get rising numbers simply from random testing, is it posing a risk? How's it effecting people?
She’ll just confirm what we all know: that she doesn’t know what to do.
