NSW is set to swelter again today, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting no reprieve from the weekend's heatwave until late tomorrow.

The NSW Rural Fire Service has issued a total fire ban in the state's Riverina in response to soaring temperatures today. Surf Life Saving is pleading with beachgoers, boaters and anglers to heed safety warnings after four men died and several others had to be rescued along the coast in the last few days.

A fourth fisherman was rescued from the same location after he was washed from the rocks yesterday afternoon.His body was found by his family on Saturday.
