Volunteer litter hero keeping Australia beautiful for years wants government to lift its game

Michael Filby has been getting up at 4:00am to clean rubbish from the side of the South West Highway

picking up hundreds of tons of roadside litter stretching from Denmark to Manjimup in Western Australia. Keep Australia Beautiful volunteer Michael Filby has been collecting rubbish for the past sixteen years.

Imagine if we taught people to put litter in the bin...Now there is an idea.

Absolutely my friend. The clean up Australia campaign was a wonderful initiative. Start something like Norm the couch potato too. There must be a sparkling Politician whom would find this type of lift to a career, just the thing for all Australia 🇦🇺. Clean and healthy Australians

sure Centrelink can send a few people who have no jobs and on payment as volunteers to help the good cause so at least the environment is good.
