The "nerve centre" of South Australia's fight against coronavirus will double in size, as authorities warn it will "take years" for the state to recover from the global pandemic.The State Government says "it will take years" to recover economicallySA Premier Steven Marshall said the State Control Centre, which coordinates emergency response efforts, would undergo a "very significant" expansion.
Mr Marshall said the expansion of the centre would be crucial as South Australia — which did not record any new COVID-19 cases today — moved to the next phase of its response to the pandemic. "This will be a doubling in the size and almost a doubling in the number of personnel who are going to be working there."
