The Australian War Memorial has held a commemorative service to mark an ANZAC Day like no other.

3min

With the dawn service usually taking place in front of tens of thousands of Australians, today’s ceremony was eerily quiet with just a handful of dignitaries. Prime Minsiter Scott Morrison led the tributes at the service, saying "lest we forget those who were so young who have made us so free". "Today is our most sacred day, the original Anzacs handed on a torch clenched and carried high and that is passed on to every generation of Australians," he said.

The mother who voted 'yes' to conscription, even as war pulled her family apartEdie Digby watched her husband and two sons leave to fight in World War I, and still voted 'yes' to conscription — twice. Feminism talks about the oppression of women over the decades and centuries! It wasn't women being sent to their deaths in distant countries. Lots is said about women being denied the vote! The majority of British soldiers in WW1 were unable to vote prior to the vote. Patriotism. Something that ABC and its leftard audience wouldn't understand even if it hit them in the head Prepping us for something...?

Why this former drug cop turned to the black market to get help for his war-veteran son's PTSDArmy veteran David Hill says cannabis helped ease his post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and is now pushing for better access to the drug for other veterans. Interesting how that works,.... It's a crime worth ripping families apart when he's being paid to. But when it's something he wants, it's no longer do bad. It reminds me of watching cops rack lines when they do their drug sweep of a club on the weekends. So hypocritical Time to legalise cannabis. Boost to the economy, have the same rules as booze. No driving, public smoking, under 18 not allowed. Surely it can be done
