Labor leader Bill Shorten has promised to be the first opposition in federal election history to release their budget costings more than a week before the poll.in Brisbane, in front of an audience of 109 undecided voters.
It's the second leaders' debate after Mr Shorten was declared the winner of the first one in Perth on Monday night. Mr Shorten was asked about the cost of his policies and how he would afford them, and he revealed all the costings will be announced next week. He promised to tax multinationals harder, and said the coalition had tried to cut corporate tax rates for years."I'm happier for him to talk for longer because he's got more taxes to explain than I do," Mr Morrison said."We need to teach our children as they grow," Mr Morrison said."While disrespect of women doesn't always end in violence that's certainly where it starts.
Mr Shorten said Labor wanted paid domestic violence leave and more money for women's shelters to help abuse victims.Source
