blinkingabyss To the surprise of: literally no one.

The case is Unions NSW v New South Wales [2019] HCA 1 (29 January 2019)

What are the implications, if any, for other jurisdictions? Vic has limited donations

Unanimous decision by the High Court today. A victory for common sense, unions and working people.👍

politicsabc Excellent news. Once again shows the LNP are prepared to trample on our freedoms in pursuit of unfair political and financial advantage.

The High Court can only interpret our current Constitution which definitely needs changing regarding the $ size & purpose of donations made by individuals & corporations to political parties, The current system not only invites corruption, but also known to lead into corruption

It's crazy that it took the high court to work that one out.

Water minister orders independent fish kill study, as another mass fish death event reported in NSWThe Federal Government calls for an independent review of the mass fish kill in the Lower Darling, after Labor called its own scientific study. Independent fish kill study. 1 million fish killed. This is going to take some time. The only point of a review is to give the impression that the government is doing something while the attention of the media is on them so that we all forget about it once it's off them. We all know the cause and we all know why the Coalition are ignoring it. Ask Bill Shotton for help.

AlexHBeech When has ScoMo NOT made an idiotic decision. This one is so off the wall I’d like to know what’s at the bottom of it. Did he owe Mundine a favour?
