NSW Labor wants 'public chill-out' zones to help elderly, children beat heatNSW Labor leader Michael Daley is again pushing for a trial of using public buildings as 'cooling centres' for the elderly and families during future heatwaves. What's stopping people now from utilising these public places to escape the heat? Need a personal invitation? Bizarre. Labor likes people. COALition likes coal - which makes more climate change. Will they be offering meals and beds as well because it’s hotter out west in the late afternoon and evening better still offer all age pensioners an aircon then they wouldn’t need to go out to get cool

NSW Liberals slam 'idiotic decision' to parachute Mundine into seatAngry Liberals are tearing up their party membership on the NSW south coast over the decision to parachute in Warren Mundine to run as a local candidate. AlexHBeech When has ScoMo NOT made an idiotic decision. This one is so off the wall I’d like to know what’s at the bottom of it. Did he owe Mundine a favour? AlexHBeech I’ve voted Labor my entire 40+ year voting life but my dislike of billshortenmp and the current labor team saw me about to switch to LNP. The Mundine decision however will see me ditch those plans to vote for ScottMorrisonMP. I’ll vote independent next Fed election AlexHBeech Will the voters of Gilmore confuse Warren with Anthony Mundine?

Water minister orders independent fish kill study, as another mass fish death event reported in NSWThe Federal Government calls for an independent review of the mass fish kill in the Lower Darling, after Labor called its own scientific study. Independent fish kill study. 1 million fish killed. This is going to take some time. The only point of a review is to give the impression that the government is doing something while the attention of the media is on them so that we all forget about it once it's off them. We all know the cause and we all know why the Coalition are ignoring it. Ask Bill Shotton for help.

NSW government seeks advice after tribunal ruling on silencersThe ruling has been welcomed by Gun Control Australia, who say it 'sets a good precedent for other jurisdictions' within Australia. rachelclun Shhhhh! rachelclun If you believe there is any use or purpose of a silencer other than to protect a shooters ears you have never fired a rifle and have watched too many action movies. rachelclun Ther is literally NO argument for a 'Recreational' shooter to posess a suppressor....none at all. I can understand professional contract 'cullers' needing one, but any call for recreational shooters to own them is just a deliberate attempt to water down the current laws
