Shadow Employment Minister Michaelia Cash says Australia’s labour shortages could have already been addressed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

“Clearly, there are issues, but I think the two policy solutions that have already been put on the table, in particular by Peter Dutton, could’ve already been addressed by Anthony Albanese,” Ms Cash told Sky News Australia.

“And they are, of course, as you know, the veterans and pensioners policy to allow them to work additional hours without affecting their pension.”

bill_dobell Should've, would've, could've. All projections, but don't compete with have

How perceptive SenatorCash, yes 6 months ago, oh that’s when you were in power.

The obvious answer is why couldn't the rabble called the LNP do so during their nine years of incompetence?

Suddenly full of ideas is Michaelia

SenatorCash thinks a gridlocked visa system, a dysfunctional DHA facing massive Budget cuts can be fixed with a click of the finger.

Or, even the LNP during the past nine years. Oh, wait ...

Just hand out whatever she’s on and everyone will be marching around!😀

LNP solution is always bring in more cheap labour. What a surprise

Haha was in government did nothing now complains.

How is he going to address labour shortages when he is still busy looking backwards and propagating the blah blah blah all the previous government’s fault narrative. Incompetence personified🥴🖕

Too busy taking his new GF on overseas trips, taking holidays, focusing on minority woke agendas & political stunts digging up past Govt issues in order that ppl don’t see what a crap job he’s doing

Is that another job the LNP failed at whilst in power for nine years

They are trying to work out how to legally make all the immigrants workers join a Union.
