Labor remains on track to win the federal election on Saturday, leading the coalition 51 to 49 per cent on a two-party preferred basis. 9News

The Liberal candidate for Wentworth, Dave Sharma, believes voter anger has subsided after the "traumatic" dumping of then-prime minister and local MP Malcolm Turnbull and he's hoping party supporters will return to the fold on Saturday.

Seven months after the historic loss, Mr Sharma says much of the anger directed at the Liberal party has subsided. "Undoubtedly some voters are still annoyed or irritated by that, we lost some of those voters obviously at the by-election and I'm not counting on us getting any of them back, but I'm trying my best to."Dr Phelps argues the anger with the Liberal party hasn't dissipated.
