Sky News host Chris Kenny says it is ‘insulting’ to the Australian public for Labor to suggest by the Coalition ‘not doing more’ on emissions reduction policy, it will cost the nation in the future.

The Opposition last week announced it would take a net-zero emissions by 2050 target to the next election, a plan Labor said was in line with the state and territories. Labor Leader Anthony Albanese has come under widespread criticism for not providing the facts and figures of the party’s policy. “Labor has refused to cost it,” Mr Kenny said. “It insults all of us by saying whatever it costs, doing nothing will cost more”.

“Yet anyone with an IQ above room temperature can work out there will be no cost if Australia doesn’t do any more than it already is”. Mr Kenny also referred to a recent report from The New Zealand Institute of Economic Research, which provided “a costed a net zero scenario,” which predicted an annual drop in GDP over the timeframe to 2050. “Labor can either accept them or provide some other calculations,” he said.

Kenny the Coward is insulting us as the Coalition's approach WILL have dire consequences for our future.

Bahahaha... Good on you Spenny, or is it kenny... Damn, who could tell, they are both clowns.... Does the dark lord pay you in bananas?

Actually what is more insulting is to see politicians arguing about some theoretical situation 30 years into the future when in 30 or 60 days we may face the start of a catastrophic pandemic with the potential to cost up to 250,000 Australian lives. They need to get real now.

See Chris is still towing the Blame Labor lines aswell as those Climate denying lines.

We all know how bias you are but sometimes you forget you need to be a little more subtle

Small turd keeps up his disingenuous campaign of plausible denial. Time’s up

The Australian People could only hope our politicians would actually focus on running our country & making it great again, instead of this crap Here is a challenge for politicians : Figure out, how to invest our super funds into building a significant manufacturing industry again

‘Not enough’ is an ignorant comment. Australia can do nothing to influence ClimateChange with respect to CO2. Our emissions are less than 0.052%. Insignificant. Think your salary would be increased? For each $100 you normally take home your increase would be 5.2 cents.

At the 46 I will retrospectively sign up for the carbon tax at birth, just like the requirement for MCC membership auspol Australia INDvsNZ

Labor have no clue what it is going to cost. They probably don’t even know how to cost it , because they couldn’t even give a cost for it during the election

How hot is hell? For the propaganda you’re consistently unleashing on us in a democracy? Well, ‘democracy’, now.
