.TroyBramston on Labor’s $4 billion childcare overhaul: It’s an expensive policy, but because Labor is increasing taxation revenue in a number of key areas, it’s able to fund a big policy like this. MORE: SpeersOnSunday

Childcare will be free for hundreds of thousands of low-income families under Labor's $4 billion election pledge. Under the proposed scheme, 887,000 families would see childcare costs slashed. More than 370,000 families earning up to $69,000 a year will receive 50 hours of free childcare a week.

billshortenmp Privatise day care assistance Have your baby only if you can afford it Why should TAX PAYERS fund day care centres VoteLaborLAST

billshortenmp Utter madness for a govt. to step in if private enterprise is rorting an allowance scheme. That's crazier than thinking burning fossil fuels is impacting the climate. What's it like seeing the world in this way mate?

billshortenmp Another step along the socialist road to full communism. Central state control of everything. Their partners the Green's policy is to nationalise the banks. auspol ausvotes

billshortenmp Price controls? Bahahaha

billshortenmp What about naming and shaming exploitative unions Bill? Will you do that?

billshortenmp Force centres to pay workers another 20% without increasing fees. Not sure that adds up

billshortenmp Cap prices and profits and watch investment in childcare centres vanish. 10/10 billshortenmp 🤦🏻‍♂️

billshortenmp Who the hell is going to pay for all of these promises ! Better get to work on planting all these money trees we are going to need

billshortenmp So Labor now actively pursuing communist economics 101 😳😳😳

billshortenmp He said unfairly, we all know that means he would use parliament only if it was ridiculous , oh well in four years Liberal have another mess to clean up.

billshortenmp Laughs in communism..

billshortenmp Hmmmmm... PeterDutton_MP won't like that!

billshortenmp Like the price control on Fuel and Electricity and Health Insurance ...sure Bill we believe you!

billshortenmp Are you also going to freeze the people that setup childcare centres and fraudulently claim money? Will you be allowing more of them into Australia?

billshortenmp Of course you will. Are you going to put a freeze on MPs wages and entitlements as well?

billshortenmp Another $4B - just keep spending like the last Labor government

billshortenmp May as well just nationalise all private enterprise. Let the government run everything.

billshortenmp Why would it be unfair for a child care centre to increase its fees when a Labor Govt will force them to increase their major costs.

BOConnorMP billshortenmp More fucking socialism from these dipshits. Pity the people who actually invest their time and money into childcare centres. Who the fuck are they to tell an owner how much they can charge? And how would u differentiate between capital cities & regional areas? Fucking imbeciles.

billshortenmp Socialism at its best.

billshortenmp More socialism policies. Why is it we always need more and more when ever you feed the socialism beast. More money for medicare, child care, pharmaceutical benefits, renewables etc....................... always at the expense of everyone so government turn tricks.

billshortenmp Good on you bill spend that money on making Australia a better place not giving it away to tax dogging millionaires who don't need it so we can be turned into a hell hole like the USA , as the Liberals dream

billshortenmp That's called restrictive trade Billy boy and it's illegal...

billshortenmp We will become a dictatorship. We will tell business how much they can earn and pay their workers. No more decision making for everyone!

billshortenmp Yeah that’s gonna work just great! 😂😂😂 What a clown.

billshortenmp The Hawke & Keating Labor governments fixed the price control disaster of govt control over 30 years ago. Ah that's right. Bill has a new generation who can be misled by the fantasy of benevolent government control in the economy. Look at Venezuela for a worked example.

When can we expect policy costings on this idea from BillionDollarBill ? auspol ausvotes skynews abc

billshortenmp Really, you are going to hand down penalties - did not past Labor leaders sound the same trumpet about other issues and then fail. We are not stupid - parliament has due process and might not agree with your plan. LiberalAus

billshortenmp Using a private company site to name and shame providers will end up in expensive legal case against the small biz owners of the childcare finder site.. Shorten is a fool and liability.

billshortenmp I don’t get what the $4b is for then?! Handouts?

billshortenmp just nationalise the damn thing! All that's going to happen is they'll raise prices to the maximum allowable amount, that's the effect of subsidies. Every. Single. Time.

billshortenmp Great , so the centres go out of business thus leading to shortages 🙄

billshortenmp Why bother running a business

billshortenmp Price controls lead to shortages, though... Cue the next crisis 18 months later, massive waiting lists...

DawsonEJ billshortenmp This is a game changer. ausvotes

billshortenmp Totalitarianism is coming...RUN. PRICE CONTROL., CONTROL THE PEOPLE LAWS ARE COMING! Stalin circa ~1910.

billshortenmp Why don't they just do that in the first place instead of throwing $4 billion at it while hoping for the best? Australia can't afford labor

billshortenmp climate change hoax

billshortenmp billshortenmp has no idea who will pay for the 4 Billion. The childcare industry is marginal already with thousands of closures. Bill has stated the housing industry through NegativeGearing will cover the 4 billion! The childcare industry will be destroyed. auspol auspol2019

billshortenmp GREAT. Go Bill the Nation Builder.
