The Opposition Leader is facing questions after telling a coal export terminal worker on Queensland central coast that Labor is ‘going to look at’ tax cuts for Australians earning more than $250,000.

While Bill Shorten has said in the past that Labor would look at tax cuts for people earning in excess of $120,000, Labor's budget reply speech prioritised relief for lower-income workers.
