In parliament on Wednesday, Ms McBain was asked by Nationals MP Kevin Hogan: “Did the minister or her husband receive any dividends from shares they held while the minister was in breach of the Prime Minister’s ministerial code of conduct?”However ASX records show that dividends were distributed by one of the companies Ms McBain divested to her husband.
Parliamentary records show Ms McBain’s husband sold out of the company’s shares on August 31, the day Sky News Australia questioned the minister on a possible breach of the ministerial code. The code, introduced in July by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, required that ministers did not own shares.Ms McBain on Thursday claimed she had not misled parliament, telling Sky News she could say no to the question of whether her husband received dividends because it suggested she had breached the code.

Albo will huff and puff, flip and flop and blame the libs. She has to go.
