Former resources minister Keith Pitt says Labor’s recently introduced fuel emissions standards to increase electric vehicle uptake in Australia is “another broken promise”.

“They said they wouldn’t do this – I think Mr Bowen needs to be upfront about the fact that, as far as I’m aware, the two refineries left in Australia can’t produce that fuel,” Mr Pitt told Sky News Australia.

“So he’s saying to every Australian you’ll have to pay more for vehicles, in fact, as a government, we’re going to tell you what type of vehicle you have to buy. “I just fundamentally oppose those types of decisions, and the regulation of people’s purchases in terms of vehicles is wrong.”

Former assistant resources minister

Fancy Pitt having the Hide to talk about “broken promises”! These LNP characters have No sense of self-awareness & love trying to rewrite their Despicable Failure History. They’ve learned NOTHING & just blunder on insulting voters’ intelligence!

What broken promise? Clean up car emissions is what the govt was voted in to do. We had a broken govt for the last 9 years

The question is how did Australia get lumbered with such an incompetent federal government

LABOR don't know how to Govern you will see a lot more BROKEN PROMISES

So everyone's going get a 200k minimum wage to pay for these ?

Former.👍

Labor ‘pearl-clutching’ on Morrison controversy makes them ‘look like an opposition’Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says the “pearl-clutching” around the controversy of former prime minister Scott Morrison’s secret ministerial swearings has “made the current government look like an opposition”. “They have loved the opportunity to talk about the previous government, rather than talking about the issues that are important to Australians today,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia. “Now it’s time to focus back on those important issues of rising costs of living, rising inflation, the need for increased productivity in our economy.” Complicit 'journalists' won't publish any details of 'Christian values' Morrison's extra marital affairs, I think Jane's doing the clutching. Did she ever have a relationship with Morrison? Proper saddos the lot of em 🖕
