President Donald Trump has spruiked his nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett in one of three Pennsylvania campaign rallies he will hold today. The rally comes as Senate Republicans are poised to confirm the president’s nomination.

“Just a few hours from now the Senate will vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the United States Supreme Court,” Mr Trump told the crowd. “Judge Barrett is one of our nation’s most brilliant legal minds, she’ll defend our rights, our liberties and our God given freedoms. “We were all watching in great amusement as she was so-called grilled by the opposition, that was easy right.”

Trump will win if Democrats can’t manage to ‘rig it to hell’ | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Lauren Southern says although President Donald Trump’s re-election would be great, it would only happen if “the Democrats can’t manage to rig it to hell”.\n\nThe election campaign is hitting its final stretch with less than ten days remaining in the battle for the presidency.\n\nDemocratic candidate Joe Biden still has a significant lead in all national polls and in many key state-wide polls, but the President’s campaign has kicked into gear since recovering from COVID-19.\n\nSky News host James Morrow said he is looking forward to heading over to the United States to cover the “historic re-election of Donald Trump”.\n Lauren_Southern realDonaldTrump Lauren_Southern realDonaldTrump Lauren! Biden is hiding because he’s scared of making ‘a stupid statement’: Trump | Sky News AustraliaPresident Trump has lampooned his Democratic opponent Joe Biden’s tendency to cut short campaigning, arguing the former vice president is keeping a low profile because he’s scared “of making a stupid statement'.\n\n‘Calling a lid’ is a colloquial term where the White House or a campaign confirms to reporters their candidate will not be out on the hustings for the rest of the day.\n\nMr Biden called an early lid on his campaign events for most of last week, despite the election only being nine days away.\n\nDuring a 90-minute stump speech in the state of New Hampshire, President Trump told his supporters Mr Biden does not have the stamina nor the mental acuity to be president.\n\n“Biden has the lid on again, I guess he figures if he keeps the lid on, he’s not going to make a stupid statement,” he said.\n\n“How about his oil comment (during Friday’s presidential debate) it took all the way to the end, he was doing okay, I wouldn’t say it was Winston Churchill, but he was doing alright, he was getting through it, and all of a sudden he said he wanted to transition (away from oil).\n\n“I said… are you listening Texas, are you listening, Pennsylvania?”\n realDonaldTrump JoeBiden In contrast to Trump who continually makes stupid statements realDonaldTrump JoeBiden Rather than keeping the stupidity tap flowing like 45? realDonaldTrump JoeBiden TRUMP : “I said… are you listening Texas, are you listening, Pennsylvania?” According to today's polls they are listening to Biden more. Republicans to 'storm the polling booths' for Trump on election day | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Joe Siracusa says forecasted record voting numbers in the upcoming presidential election “suggests a lot more people are going to try and have a say in it this time around”. \n\n“That’s because the coronavirus has infected, or has intruded in every part of American life,” he told Sky News. \n\n“The Australian experience is a marvel to Americans who follow Australian events. \n\n“You charge Americans $1600 for not wearing their mask you would have a revolution.” \n\nMr Siracusa said about 50 million Americans had already voted, about 55 to 60 per cent of which would likely be toward the Democrats. \n\n“But the Republicans will storm the polling booths on November 3 as they did the last time,” he said. \n\n Trump is going to lose and when he does, I can't wait to rub it in your face. How do you “storm” a booth when people were standing in line for 10 hours to vote 3 weeks before the election? Good luck with that! Shameless propagandists at it again at Sky. 'Republicans to 'storm the polling booths' for Trump on election day' Joe on 11 Oct said Biden would win safely.
