Sporting greats, media identities and politicians gathered today to farewell legendary manager John Fordham.

Fordham, who worked in sports and media management with Australian celebrities, including A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw, passed away last week after a two-year-battle with throat cancer.John 'Fordo' Fordham was a legendary manager who guided the careers of some of Australia's best and brightest.

Other attendees included Alan Jones, John Laws, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, cricketing great Ian Chappell and former Prime Minister John Howard. Fordham's son Ben described his father's passing as "peaceful" and said it was a blessing to be at his bedside when he took his last breath.NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian attended the funeral.

This year, John helped launched the Head and Neck Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for conditions like his.
