Breaking: John Barilaro charged with assault and malicious damage | Nigelgladstone

Former deputy NSW premier John Barilaro has been charged with assault and malicious damage over a clash with a cameraman in Manly.

The former deputy premier told 2GB the following Monday morning that he had been “intruded on and harassed” since his controversial appointment to a $500,000-a-year trade commissioner post in New York became the subject of a parliamentary inquiry. In a Facebook post, lawyers Xenophon Davis said they would be acting for the cameraman allegedly assaulted by Barilaro.
