Jetstar pilots are threatening to walk off the job over Christmas, potentially leaving travelers stranded at the busiest time of the year.

The Australian Federation of Air Pilots has applied to the Fair Work Commission to hold a vote among Jetstar pilots on taking protected industrial action.

Pilots would refuse to work any longer than their rostered hours, or stop working altogether for up to 24 hours. Jetstar reportedly offered its pilots a three per cent annual wage rise, but the union proposal would drive a 15 per cent increase in pilot costs. Image: News Corp Australia

Don’t they like the seating , service , Leg room either !

Its double LL in Australian spelling for “Travellers”

At least they’re giving some warning this time. JetstarAirways have no problem leaving people stranded, taking no responsibility and then giving you a crappy $50 voucher you must spend with them. I will never give them the opportunity again. DONT FLY JETSTAR

Maybe alanjoyce could share some of his salary with the pilots. Sure he wouldn’t miss it. 😱

Now is the time in our history to break down divisions, not create them.'\n\nImage: News Corp Australia\n\n 'his quiet Australians might be quiet but they are certainly racist'. Yeah they are. True.
