It's about time

Or is it just a lying distraction from their harbouring of a suspected Chinese Communist party operative in their government ranks?

ITS ANOTHER LIBERAL LYING DISTRACTION from their neglect inaction and incompetence on water and electricity infrastructure that has seen MORE MASSIVE ELECTRICITY PRICE INCREASES..Farmers starved of water for our food crops by 'investors' and town running dry

Ok then! Good comment considering they wanna get rid of the minimum wage!

And while your at it You could have a look at the tax department and its laws that cheats workers out of their legitimate returns you virtue signaling hypocrites.

Not could, SHOULD! Greedy selfish neoLiberal-Party-voting business clowns who think they're better than their workers WHO MAKE THEIR MONEY FOR THEM should be sent to jail for their neoliberal greed. Oh, but these bosses work so hard, they're ENTITLED to EVERYTHING!

It’s about time workers always short end of stick

Well what are you waiting for, I don’t think that there is a more despicable crime than stealing from your employees.

er …. except for 'genuine' mistakes …. lol

But NOT if they are a LiberalAus donor they will get a Govt Contract instead auspol qt senateqt speers

Won't happen, underpaying workers is almost liberals policy......

A vast % of businesses in Aus are small single owner. If owner goes to jail, what happens to workers?

I'm one on the 70% who gets paid for 40 hours a week, but works over 50. Would be nice if that comes into it.

Somebody tell George Calombaris please!

Positive.

ScottMorrisonMP has appointed George Calombaris to conduct an enquiry into wage thefts by employers.

As if

Oh that’ll be interesting if brought in over here, RoyalMail bosses, especially Rico Back would be right in the shit! But it’s ok, over £100m due in back pay & there’s media silence, probably no thanks to their union & jeremycorbyn

This has to happen as too many industries are known to do this. construction is one of the worst for it as well but they should have a law that clients also have to pay up in time or be sent to jail & not only push it on the companies that are waiting for clients to pay up.

Soooooo governments that cheat their citizens out of their taxes will face mandatory jail terms also? Need more jails

Good like newscorp

Could? Wth. It's a crime. They should face charges and severe ones at that.

Could? Will. Until it's will, this is theatrics.
