Former US president Donald Trump said he would urge his supporters and others wary of the COVID-19 vaccine to get it

Dr Anthony Fauci, Biden’s chief medical adviser, said on Sunday that reluctance among Republicans to receiving a vaccine was one of the biggest risks to controlling the coronavirus pandemic and that he’d like to see Trump publicly urge his supporters to get vaccinated.

But Biden told reporters at the White House on Monday that he discussed it with his team and “they say the thing that has more impact than anything Trump would say” to his supporters is having their local doctor, preacher and others in their community telling them why it’s important to get the vaccine.shows that 42 per cent of Republican voters say they do not plan to take a COVID-19 vaccine when one becomes available to them. Another 14 per cent say they are unsure about whether to get the jab.

“I think we have a very, very good chance of taking back the House,” Trump said. “You have a good chance to take back the Senate and frankly, we’ll make our decision after that.”“Based on every poll, they want me to run again, but we’re going to take a look and we’ll see,” Trump said.In a separate interview with ABC News, Trump’s coronavirus response coordinator Dr Deborah Birx said the moment“Frankly, I didn’t know how to handle that episode” she said. “I still think about it every day.

When Trump asked Birx last April if disinfectant or ultraviolent light could cure the disease, she only said neither could be used “as a treatment”. “You can see how extraordinarily uncomfortable I was,” she said. “Those who have served in the military know there are discussions you have in private with your commanding officers and there are discussions you have in public.”

Trump resort closed by CovidA COVID-19 outbreak at the Mar-a-lago Resort at Palm Beach, the Florida resort owned by Donald Trump, has partially closed the club. Tacky Mocking masks and social distancing sure worked in their favor. I'd like to offer my thoughts & prayers though, as I imagine the COVID virus would be rather distressed having to contract a Mar-A-Lago member.
