Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says from the evidence given to ICAC today it is “pretty clear” Premier Gladys Berejiklian will be called to front the inquiry once again. “I’d be staggered if she’s not,” Mr Clennell said. Disgraced former MP Daryl Maguire appeared before the inquiry for his second day of evidence on Thursday where numerous phone taps revealed his connections to property developers.

D-Day for Gladys Berejiklian as her former partner faces ICACNew South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian's future hangs in the balance today, as her former partner and disgraced MP Daryl Maguire faces a corruption inquiry. 9News You keep forgetting to say SHE LIED TO ICAC. It’s pretty hard to miss you only had to watch her listen to the tapes. The “bad boyfriend “ routine won’t work because it lasted 5 years and only stopped 1 month ago when ICAC came calling. Truth in media. Her relationship is not in question, her knowledge of his Buisness affairs are which was clearly evident by the audio ' I don't need to know that'. She knew but Chose not to inform ICAC. Gladys needs to step down. Should they be looking at Greater Sydney Commission developments also?

Key questions from Gladys Berejiklian's ICAC scandalDespite the public spotlight on the NSW Premier's private life, there are still some crucial gaps in what we need to know after this week's extraordinary ICAC revelations | Rabe9 Rabe9 Apropos “this weeks extraordinary revelations” -reminder, it’s only Tuesday. Just saying. Rabe9 She lied under oath at a corruption inquiry. Recorded calls show her congratulating a Minister on a corrupt deal, and when told of other corrupt deals, she said, 'I don't need to hear about that.' And she illegally hid corruption from ICAC. What more does the media need to know? Rabe9 Putting aside the inevitable bot replies and that I'm not typically inclined to vote liberal, the woman has steered NSW through the '19-'20 bushfire season and the '20 pandemic. She's done it well. I'd expect to see more substantial evidence to accept corrupt conduct on her part.

Gladys Berejiklian remaining in office shows 'a clear double standard' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Sharri Markson says extraordinarily, unless there are further revelations in ICAC this week coming which are “a smoking gun or that are extremely damaging”, it looks like Gladys Berejiklian “may survive this”.\n\nOn Monday, Premier Berejiklian rejected claims she interfered in an area outside of her jurisdiction to an ICAC inquiry investigating the nature of her relationship with disgraced former MP Daryl Maguire.\n\nShe admitted earlier in the inquiry she had been in a 'close personal relationship' with Mr Maguire.\n\nHowever, Ms Berejiklian strongly denied suggestions she knew of Mr Maguire’s business interests in the sale and development of land surrounding Badgerys Creek where the government planned to build the new Western Sydney airport.\n\nMs Markson said the reason it’s extraordinary is because “if it was any other politician … they would not survive”. \n\n“If a politician within Gladys Berejiklian’s Cabinet had potentially breached the ministerial code of conduct by failing to disclose a close personal relationship with someone who stood to benefit financially for decisions that they were making within that cabinet, they would be gone. \n\n'They would have had to stand aside or resign completely while ICAC was investigating.\n\n“This is a clear double standard.\n\n'The premier has repeatedly said she accepts the highest level of integrity within her government, but she does not hold herself to those same standards.”\n SharriMarkson GladysB Gladys will be gone by the end of the week. SharriMarkson GladysB Sharri needs to find a new job, if this is the only quality journalism she can think of. Why are journalism standards so bad at the moment? SharriMarkson GladysB If fake news SharriMarkson says GladysB might survive this, the she must be gone within days
