Why? 10yo’s are children, even if they are mouthy or they think they are street wise! They are still way too young to comprehend the complexity of the law! Just cruel! What were you doing when you were ten? WHAT Hope they realise children have been, are and will be at risk cowardly decision to defer it a year; yes there are issues that seem a bit more pressing right now but i’m sure it doesn’t seem that way to kids aged eleven awaiting sentence and their families, given what we know abt outcomes for justice for juvenile detention
