With a top speed over 325 km/h and extreme styling to match, Lamborghini’s latest coupe might be more suited to a superhero movie than a suburban road.

The Lamborghini Huracán Evo Fluo Capsule – hope you’re still with me after such a long name – is the Italian company’s “entry-level” mid-engined coupe. To break the name down, the Evo addendum came with a 2019 upgrade, while Fluo Capsule refers to a new colour collection. This consists of five fluorescent, matte-finish exterior paints.

With such a shouty exterior and brutalist styling, a car such as this is not ideal for a trip to the supermarket. Plus the boot is so small. Beneath the shouty exterior and brutalist styling is some pretty remarkable engineering with, for example, an all-wheel-drive system that avoids the understeer that blights many powerful all-wheel-drives while providing stunning mechanical grip. It’s not too harsh riding either.

The interior is beautifully put together, with a range of interesting and high-quality materials. The angular styling of the dashboard may polarise opinion, though. Obviously, a car such as this is not ideal for a trip to the supermarket, and not only because the boot is so small.
