Opinion: How soon is now? Why we must learn to love Smith before light goes out

- which has never happened to any other club! - the Roosters demand concessions.

Melbourne, equally depleted by injuries, are steadily taking the ‘grudging’ out of ‘admiration’. No club has had to endure as much inconvenience and dislocation due to COVID-19. No city has suffered as much, and if anyone deserves a break right now it’s Melbourne. He certainly is not hated in Victoria or Queensland. NSW people are just being NSW people...strange isn't it

who would call Smith this charming man?

Malcolm Knox is a big Morissey fan 😏

He’s a grub

Cameron Smith has my utmost respect as a player. Like many quiet champions, he is not overly charismatic, he is a thinker, a doer & gets the job done.Bravo Cameron Smith.

You don’t hear Storm or State QLD fans whinge about him very often and the truth is, who wouldn’t want him as a one team guy in theirs?

''If he doesn't duck his head, that doesn't happen,' Smith said at the time
