Being unable to rule out that he may not have done it isn’t saying he didnt do it.. So it may be an injustice in technical terms however there remains the possibility that Pell got the karma due him, it just wasnt able to be proven to the standard required

Well that's not the view of the jury of 12 who sat all those days and heard all the evidence presented and saw the demeanor of all who gave evidence.
Strange line: I think the allegations against Pell are highly implausible based on the evidence, but part of the appeal was an argument there was too much emphasis placed on the fact that it was possible for Pell to have done it rather than proving it beyond reasonable doubt.

That was certainly the view of the HC. But the jury of 12 and the majority of the Vic Court of Appeal had no doubt. Overturning a jury verdict in our system of justice is unusual to say the least.
