'He is a dictator': Democrats close impeachment argument as Trump's defence targets TV ratings

Mr Trump is yet to make good on his wish to sit in the front row of the trial, but he still featured in today's proceedings as Democrats played footage of his attacks on several witnesses.

It was up to lead House impeachment manager Adam Schiff to wrap up three days that examined the case Democrats have built against Mr Trump on the charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
