George Kambosos Jr believes Vasiliy Lomachenko “has to accept” his defeat to Devin Haney and the fact he failed to become the undisputed lightweight champion .
But having reviewed the fight multiple times in preparation for his fight against Lomachenko on Sunday, his opinion has changed. “Lomachenko has to accept that defeat, accept that again he couldn’t be undisputed. Something that I’ve gone and achieved. Kambosos and Lomachenko’s fight on Sunday will take place almost two years after when they were slated to fight until the latter withdrew to link up with the Ukrainian army amid Russia’s invasion.“We respect Lomachenko, what he went and did,” Kambosos said.
