Vietnam is Australia's fourth-largest grain trading partner overall and any change to the glyphosate restrictions on imports could have a big impact on Australia growers.

Vietnam, one of Australia's largest markets for wheat exports, has banned the use of the widely-used herbicide glyphosate.Glyphosate is one of the world's most widely used and rigorously tested chemicalsThe Vietnam Government's decision to ban glyphosate means all herbicides containing glyphosate will not be imported into the country, according to Vietnam's Plant Protection Department.

However Australia's grain growing peak body, GrainGrowers, said the safety of glyphosate was well-established and it was confident the ban would not affect the export of grain to the country.

Don't they realise the death toll from this chemical?

….apparently glyphosate only causes cancer in the US of A and Vietnam...….

The uncontrolled and seemingly unregulated use of herbicides and pesticides within SEAsia is staggering. Thailand for example, continues to export affected rice at an alarming rate. Domestic cases of many forms of cancers are endemic amongst agricultural workers.

A Sydney school has banned kids from handing out party invitesA Sydney school’s decision to ban students from handing out birthday party invitations has infuriated parents across the country, with many claiming the move is “bubble wrapping kids”. Becoming ‘furious’ over a school’s decision which harms nobody is ridiculous I will admit it probably means one less thing teachers have to be involved in when parents come to them to ask 'so did Jane, Andrew and Sam get the invitations and give them to their parents?' I think the worst thing that could happen here is a late onset of FOMO

Mad penalty when it happened, thanks One match is pathetic.
