Environmental groups have accused the government of excluding them from the COVID-19 Commission - a group created to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on businesses and to facilitate a fast recovery. 9News

has been accused of shutting out peak environmental groups, despite claiming to have included them in consultation.

They complain they are listed on the commission's website "as organisations with which the Commission has engaged"."We write to inform you that our organisations have not been consulted by the National COVID-19 Coordination Commission, and to express our disappointment at the Commission's lack of meaningful engagement with the environment and climate change sectors," they write.
