Ghislaine Maxwell has been sentenced to 20 years for facilitating the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein in sexually abusing underage girls, after being convicted in December on federal sex trafficking charges:

This article contains references to sexual assault, child abuse and suicide.

"And to those of you who spoke here today and those of you who did not, may this day help you travel from darkness into the light." Annie Farmer, who testified that Epstein and Maxwell lured her to Epstein's ranch when she was 16 years old in 1996, told the court, "Maxwell had many opportunities to come clean... but instead continued to make choices that caused more harm."

In the end, judge Alison Nathan went with 20, the amount of time recommended by the US probation office.During Maxwell's high-profile trial in late 2021, prosecutors successfully proved that she was "the key" to Epstein's scheme of enticing young girls to give him massages, during which he would sexually abuse them.

1800RESPECT So..if there's no client list who was she trafficking for? Surely not the one creep...all names on that list should be names I mean lifestyles of the rich and famous is what the media make their money on...but the silence is deafening on the list...

1800RESPECT That’s all … 20 years? Did she get a secret deal for not naming names? 🤮

1800RESPECT Epstein & Maxwell are guilty of trafficking, why don't the media and the courts name the clients (perpetrators), the victims have testified, yet no one will say who had sex with the girls and the media never ask, why?. Clinton, Trump, and others frequented Epstein's properties.

That's it 20 years? that's like 5 days for each offense.. if she cheated on her tax she would get 25 years. The world cares not for justice... Should get 100 years send a message!!!!

1800RESPECT A reputable news agency would address the fact that the client list remains secret and highlight that fact. Instead, we have to rely upon

1800RESPECT How can you convict someone for trafficking someone to people who apparently don’t exist?

1800RESPECT I'm befuddled how can she be guilty when there seems to be no proof of who she was trafficking to

1800RESPECT Client List?

1800RESPECT So far no one has seen the client list and not one client has been arrested. Not good enough. Too many powerful people being protected.

We need to see their clients prosecuted. However this must be a relief for her victims

The extraordinary long sentence I knew they would give her to silence her from ever telling the truth. The cruelty of the US injustice system will ensure she stays in solitary confinement. Remember Epstein got 1 year in jail with day release for the exact same crime.

Very odd to say 'Federal' without any context given it's not happening in Australia.

Clients still roaming free though.

Won’t last 3 before she’s told to take one for the team
