While the latest people to test positive in Vic may not have caught Covid 19 at the protests, the BLM protests are the cause of the spike. When they were allowed, the motivation by millions of Australians, to obey the restrictions, dropped. Understandably but tragically.
Complacency and selfishness. Security guards entrusted with protecting us from the virus were sleeping with quarantined travellers and spreading it to their families while 40,000 people are protesting and 10,000 are refusing testing.
Two Victorian families knowingly passed the virus on. One hotel security guy slept w/ a woman under quarantine and passed on the virus. People are a-holes. Who knew?
