Former AFL player Joel Wilkinson accuses players of racism ‘disgrace’

The former Gold Coast Suns player two weeks ago went public with a series of shocking accusations against AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan, claiming he had received a “racist” letter from the chief executive in June.

Lumumba claimed Collingwood failed to take appropriate action against a Collingwood fan, who allegedly racially vilified Wilkinson during an AFL match in 2012. Wilkinson on Wednesday accused the AFLPA of failing to give players from diverse multicultural backgrounds fair representation on its Multicultural Players’ Advisory Broad, labelling it an “absolute disgrace”.

It is the second time, Wilkinson has hit out at what he claims is a failure from the AFLPA to advance the cause of non-white players in the league. after the league was forced to apologise for singling out Indigenous players in an email to club doctors.The AFL is reported to have informed club doctors that under revised Queensland Government border protection measures, the game’s Indigenous players required a pneumococcal vaccination.

I beginning to realise that unless you have the darker colour skin it is poor old light white seem to be at fault for every bloody thing that happens to you all.Maybe try just looking at genuine major problems of the worlds troubles and shut up with the word racist for a while.

Black lives matter rioting in the US seems to be the catalyst for certain ex AFL players to use this platform to whinge about race discrimination as the cause of their dismal playing performances. It’s a broken record that has no proof and seems to be 💰 driven.

Think Joel has bigger issues - hope he's getting some help.
