Victorian Premier DanielAndrewsMP says stability in coronavirus case numbers 'is not enough' to see things return to 'normal' as he again blasted Victorians for failing to comply with isolation rules.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says stability in coronavirus case numbers "is not enough" to see things return to "normal" as he again blasted Victorians for failing to comply with isolation rules. "If we want to have businesses reopened, if we want to get back to something approaching normal, albeit a COVID normal, then we can't continue to see stable numbers, we have to drive those numbers down," Mr Andrews said.

Mr Andrews targeted young Victorians, more specifically, giving them an ultimatum to comply or face continued restrictions and fines. "If you want this to be over, if you want to get to the other side of it and find that COVID normal and then lock in at that for the forseeable future... You've got to follow the rules," he said. "If you want to get past these restrictions.

DanielAndrewsMP Money money money it’s so funny....

DanielAndrewsMP Things won't get back to normal if we keep shutting down economy, they keep crapping on about vaccines, there has never been a vaccine developed for any of the other strains of the virus which have been around since 1960's, so counting on that is not helping anyone

DanielAndrewsMP He can whinge and whine as much as he wants. There is a growing number of people who don’t believe him anymore. Boy that cries wolf.

DanielAndrewsMP Defund the state premiers

DanielAndrewsMP Andrews blinked

DanielAndrewsMP Pls change isolation rules into isolation laws.

DanielAndrewsMP This same playbook is being used all around the world. Absolute hysteria, for a virus that 80 percent of people show zero symptoms for. and 99.9 percent fully recover. When does truthful journalism return and the hysteria stop?

DanielAndrewsMP Maybe Andrews and his useful idiots of voters do another protest about people not complying. That’s sure to help.

DanielAndrewsMP We have this lovely vaccine to look forward to. worth investigating into ...

Andrews must ‘get his house in order’ before he lectures Victorians | Sky News AustraliaOpposition Leader in the Victorian Upper House David Davis says Premier Daniel Andrews “always wants to point the finger” at the community but never chooses to accept responsibility for his failures.\n\nVictoria has recorded a recorded number of COVID-19 cases, with a whopping 484 people confirmed to have contracted the disease within the last 24 hours.\n\nThe state’s administrative failures regarding hotel quarantine and more recently its prison system, have been widely criticised and identified as the source of recent outbreak.\n\nSix Victorian prisons have been placed into lockdown after a guard tested positive to COVID-19.\n\nIt is believed the guard came into contact with prisoners who were then transferred to other facilities, leading to the lockdown with fear the virus has spread throughout the system.\n\n“The problems with the administration by this government continue,” Mr Davis told Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\nHe said the chain of administration or “in this case mal-administration” by the Andrews government has led to a rapid spread of the virus.\n\n“This is just not good enough. You need a competent government, a government that’s actually got its focus on the ball and not playing politics, not hectoring and lecturing Victorians.\n\nWe are all in this together, but that means the government getting it right too”.\n\n“Andrews always wants to point the finger at the community and the people in the community, he never wants to look in the mirror.\n\n“Get your house in order first before you start lecturing people.”\n\nImage: Getty DavidDavisMP DanielAndrewsMP Lmao ... Industry celebrates no appeal of live cattle ban ruling | Sky News AustraliaThe government will not appeal the Federal Court's ruling which declared the former Gillard government's live export ban illegal. \n\nLabor introduced the blanket ban on live exports in 2011 after an ABC report showed mistreatment of Australian cattle in some Indonesian abattoirs. \n\nAttorney-General Christian Porter said 'live cattle exporters were dealt with egregiously by the Gillard government” when it made the 2011 decision. \n\nFormer NTCA Chief Executive Tracey Hayes told Sky News “it was an atrocious decision made by the federal Labor government of the day, and it caused great distress and heartache across northern Australia'. \n\n'We don’t ever want to see governments of any persuasion have the ability to make decisions like this again,” she said. \n\nNationals Senator Matt Canavan welcomed the decision, telling Sky News “it’s certainly not about the money for most of the cattle producers, they want that justification for their livelihoods”. \n\n“They want to know that governments can’t make overnight decisions, knee-jerk decisions to shut down their livelihoods without proper reasons for doing so,” he said. \n\nA 300-strong class action is seeking an estimated $600 million in compensation for lost income due to the ban. \n\nMr Canavan blasted the Gillard Labor government for leaving a $600 million bill which Australian taxpayers would now need to pay out. \n\nImage: Getty We live in a land of law where there are no rights for the dead paw. I cannot believe we put these poor beasts through this torture.
