Camden Council’s Deputy Mayor Paul Farrow says there were no further evacuations in the south-west suburb of Camden overnight.
“Water’s receded slightly from 12.7 metres down to 11.7, but unfortunately we’re still not out of the woods with more predicted rain in Camden and surrounding areas this morning,” he told Sky News Australia. “We didn’t get the rainfall that was predicted yesterday, however it is raining currently here at the moment.
