Security forces in Pakistan have combed a luxury hotel on the country's south-west coast just one day after separatist insurgents lay siege on it, killing five people.

Officials say at least four gunmen raided the five-star Pearl Continental Hotel, but police are yet to say if any of the attackers have been captured or killed. The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying it was a strike against Chinese and other foreign investors.
