Paul Murray wouldn't work in an iron lung.

No Paul. Off you go back to the sand pit and be a good boy please...

Labour will get smashed and deserving so. Good riddance

I hope this is not the result of Dan's absence, but the realization of a flawed, incompetent Labor in charge of a state that deserves better.

Sure Potato you just keep on thinking that. Meanwhile here in reality life goes on

Has Murray ever had a real job, one where you have to earn your pay?

Paul Murray might be just might be Barnaby's best friend, you know

Visa scheme to tackle farm labour crisis | Sky News AustraliaA new agricultural visa scheme has been unveiled which will allow workers to be recruited from 10 South East Asian countries to tackle a labour shortage.\n\nThe announcement comes after Australia agreed to abolish a requirement for British backpackers to work on farms to extend their visas - decreasing the workforce by up to 10,000 United Kingdom citizens per year.\n\nVictorian Farmers Federation Horticulture President Nathan Free told Sky News the pandemic had made it “very difficult” to get reliable labourers onto farms and the visa had been “in the pipeline for a long time”. \n\n“We’ve been just trying to work with government and other organisations to try and get some workers for farmers so they’ve got continuity and they’ve got sustainability in their business so they can look into the future,” he said. \n\nMr Free also said there had been a number of government initiatives to support businesses including the extension of the seasonal worker program in Victoria.\n\n“There’s been a lot of ways we’ve been trying to work on getting more workers into the country but the [agriculture] visa’s going to be a step in the right direction,” he said. \n The is no labor shortage - there is a fair salary shortage COVID crisis confirms what some suspect about employment (and denied by politicians), that imported workers/immigration does keep our wages down and keeps some citizens out of the workforce. trainausworkers ALL EMPLOYMENT IS SLAVERY' DON'T GET IT TWISTED NOR TRY WHITE WASHED IT DOWN. Australia-UK trade agreement a ‘win-win’ for both sides | Sky News AustraliaAustralia and the United Kingdom’s free trade agreement is a “win-win” for both sides, according to Victoria Treadell.\n\nMs Treadell, the British high commissioner to Australia, said she hoped to see tariffs “come right down” over more than a decade. \n\n“This is a win-win for both sides, it is about economic growth and jobs,” she told Sky News Australia.\n\n“For our consumers, I think this is where the great benefit will come from greater choice and lower cost, particularly as we move towards the tariff-free elements that are enshrined in the agreement in principle as we nut that out and finalise the detail into the full-blown free trade agreement.\n\n“The opportunity for Australian farmers, for example, back into the UK market.\n\n“If you take your lamb meat industry, currently it can face up to 80 per cent tariffs on Australian lamb going into the UK and you have a similar picture on your beef.\n\n“Our ambition, over a 10 to 15-year phasing period, is to see those tariffs come right down.” Well, the current High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Australia would say that, wouldn't she? How come you never called out ScottMorrisonMP for travelling O/S while Australia is the only democracy who doesn't allow citizens to leave? I should know as I've applied 20 times for an exemption. He also didn't have to pay 3k in quarantine. auspol MurdochGutterMedia

Slow vaccine rollout may prove to be a ‘positive’ for Australia’s economy | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Peter Switzer says the slow pace of the vaccine rollout may actually turn out to be a “positive” for the nation’s economy since the closed borders are forcing Australians to spend their money at home. \n\n“In many ways the opening of our borders is going to be a very important step forward for the economy,” he said.\n\n“You’ve got to remember, something like $65 billion is spent by Australians every year when they go overseas. That money is here and, in a sense, it’s creating a lot of stimulus for the economy. \n\n“We wouldn’t want this to go on forever.\n\n“I think the AstraZeneca problems on one hand have slowed up the opening of our economy, but on the other hand I guess the fact that our vaccination program’s so slow … it might prove to be a positive in the end”. \n Stupid comment. Grasping to support a useless Morrison. Clive Palmer slammed for letters spreading COVID-19 misinformation, Vaccine Concern Hmm: Norway delays AstraZeneca vaccine ruling to further probe risks Poll: Australia 26% say NO to Vaccine What money? Westpac tips interest rate rise in 2023 | Sky News AustraliaWestpac has predicted interest rates will rise in 2023 ahead of the Reserve Bank of Australia’s projections of 2024, according to Sky News contributor Peter Switzer.\n\n“I’ve been saying this for a long time, I didn’t believe the 2024 guess by the Reserve Bank governor,” he said.\n\nMr Switzer told Sky News the “massive drop” in the unemployment rate from 5.5 per cent to 5.1 per cent led Westpac’s chief economist Bill Evans to forecast 2023 as the time when interest rates will rise. \n\n“Putting it into perspective, if we use January 2023, that’s still 18 months away, so in many ways I think we’ll probably see it early 202, not necessarily January,” Mr Switzer said. \n
