'Some kind of sick prank?': World Cup ticket bungle separates families

Tickets were made available to print this week and some ticket holders learnt that their seats were split up in separate rows and even sections - even families with young children were separated.

The earlier tweets had advised fans that they had been notified of the potential seating issues before purchase. Responses to the second statement on Twitter indicated that people were experiencing the issues for more matches than just the semi-finals and finals. Campbell also purchased three tickets for matches in Paris - two are together and the other is separate."I appreciate that there are a lot of tickets, and they're selling them all at once, but I just can't fathom how you would end up - and I'm a software developer - I don't know how you would build a system that said, 'We have three seats that are almost together but we're gonna put one single seat in between those three.
