.RitaPanahi on the govt’s domestic violence plan: There’s no denying that certain communities have a greater problem than others. I would like some focus on that. If you’ve got an area where rates are through the roof, then focus on it. MORE: PMLive

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has unveiled a $328 million action plan to tackle domestic abuse, as part of an ongoing national strategy to curb violence towards women.

Minister for Women Kelly O'Dwyer says the prevention strategies will have a strong focus on raising awareness around sexual violence and consent in healthy relationships. The plan also extends to supporting men who experience instances of domestic violence. Deputy Labor leader Tanya Plibersek says she welcomes the Morrison Government's announcement but hopes the party will also back Labor's funding packages and its commitment to 10 days paid domestic violence leave.

RitaPanahi Stop “out of control” immigration. Deport all immigrants who rorted the System, broke laws or lied on visa apps over last 30 years. Then give Australians citizens back their lifestyle, work, sense of purpose & of community. Only then is reduction of Domestic Abuse even possible.

RitaPanahi Are you kidding. I knew a woman who hid a family of a very high up politician. DV is not discriminatory. Shame on you. Disgusting

RitaPanahi didn't labor announce a domestic abuse of women policy a few days ago. the extra millions promised by the libs will really help labors policy! libs playing catch up in the policy dept. labor announces a policy and the libs follow suite, so which party IS REALLY GOVERNING?

RitaPanahi Domestic violence high i believe in aboriginal communities and areas of housing stress . Housing loans in areas and under water

RitaPanahi Speaking in code, Rita? Racist comment, I bet your “certain communities” reference is about non-Anglo/non-white people!! Did Ayatollah Khomeini hurt you that much?!

gerster_kaylene RitaPanahi Ban Abos from buying piss with our money. Halve the rate. 👍🇦🇺

RitaPanahi There just seems to also be so many women attacking men in so many ways these days, verbally, mentally, physically, and somehow it’s a lot more acceptable than the other way around. Women really need to do better.

RitaPanahi It pervades all of society.

RitaPanahi Agree Rita- rather than a blanket coverage - address areas of DV. Otherwise a poor allocation of resources.

RitaPanahi Caution Rita or the Five Feminazis will be on your case.
