Prime Minister Scott Morrison has unveiled a $328 million action plan to tackle domestic abuse, as part of an ongoing national strategy to curb violence towards women.

Minister for Women Kelly O'Dwyer says the prevention strategies will have a strong focus on raising awareness around sexual violence and consent in healthy relationships.

The plan also extends to supporting men who experience instances of domestic violence. Deputy Labor leader Tanya Plibersek says she welcomes the Morrison Government's announcement but hopes the party will also back Labor's funding packages and its commitment to 10 days paid domestic violence leave. How about sky news report how much ScottMorrisonMP & his mates have CUT from DV & associated support groups & organisations over the past 6 years not just the bit they decide to put back just before the election! 😡🤬

Stop “out of control” immigration. Deport all immigrants who rorted the System, broke laws or lied on visa apps over last 30 years. Then give Australians citizens back their lifestyle, work, sense of purpose & of community. Only then is reduction of Domestic Abuse even possible.

Sorry but this is rubblish... programs are already in place , laws are already in place , this is just a show piece before an election... easy bipartisan win ... grow a pair an have some policy

nobby15 Pulling figures out of his arse. No real policies. Just more money to throw at his donors. This time ones to run DV programmes! Auspol

Another fool politician trying to buy votes instead of fixing the problem

The perferators of DV have to be taxed to pay for the expense they cause. Why should men working hard to look after their families have to carry those mongrels.

FIXED IT FOR YOU ChumBucket ScottMorrisonMP has unveiled a $28 million action plan to tackle DomesticViolence after the LiberalAus Cut $300 million from it in 2015 MoreLiberalLies auspol pmlive credlin TheProjectTV

Can he start with John Setka CFMEU Hitman who beats up his wife?

After he took $300 million away -big deal!

What the Prime Minister did not say: 'The terrorists women in Australia should be scared of are: Domestic White Male Christian 20-50yrs old'

So....after doing nothing about it for 6 years, they finally announce a policy 2 days after Labor? This failed government is so pathetic, I'm actually laughing 🤣

Obviously ScottMorrisonMP is unaware that 1 in 3 Domestic Violence cases are men. Yet the Feminists still believe that make privilege exists.
