FINALLY ending both the longest election campaign in Aust history and the revolving door PMship. What idiots are voting for Bill? He's an economic disaster waiting to happen. If we deny the existence of scomo, will he really go away the same way as climate change deniers believe climate change doesn’t exist? 🤔

Tim Fischer says long, popular federal election pre-poll period 'poisoning' democracyFormer deputy prime minister Tim Fischer says the three-week early voting period is bad for democracy, particularly in regional Australia. Okay, but governing a country is a continuous business so shouldn't all the parties have current, updated policies in place as a matter of best practice? If polling booth circumstances were more civil, more people may vote on the day. These days we have protesters etc etc and party slaggers, which are turning booths into potential war zones. Next, we will need to run the gauntlet of eggs and sponge cakes :-( Thanks Tim! Good to know that the Coalition think it is losing big-time in pre-polling! Even with its workers at nursing homes telling old people how to vote.
