Defence of climate change is 'uninformed, poorly researched, and factually incorrect' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host says every “utterance of Turnbull” these days “reeks with a revenge mentality against the party which rightly got rid of him”.\n\nAustralians should be “disturbed,” Mr Jones said, at the direction “in which this so-called climate debate is heading,” as the arguments in “defence of so-called climate change” are increasingly “uninformed, poorly researched and … factually incorrect”.\n\nMr Jones said the debate has “reached the point of hysteria,” he said, as climate change has been mentioned across the media “almost 900,000 times” according to fellow Sky News host Chris Kenny.\n\n“This hysteria and new, phony religion, must be addressed and it must be beaten”.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia I've got one word for you Sky News host: Abbott. Australia is 'routinely slammed' for emissions reductions by the 'climate cult' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says the “one-sided climate protests” which predominantly target Australia and “Trump’s America”, show how the “climate cult is less about reducing emissions than affirming belief”.\n\nBoth Australia and the US have reduced the carbon emissions by “13 per cent since 2005,” a stark contrast to Canada led by the “ultra-woke” Justin Trudeau who have cut emissions by only two per cent in the same time.\n\nAlthough Australia is “routinely slammed” for reportedly “not doing enough”, it is “one of very few countries” who have reliably met its emissions targets, Ms Credlin said.\n\nThe “climate zealots”, said the Sky News host, believe meeting emissions reductions targets - “as Australia is doing' - is not “nearly as important” as proclaiming that “climate change is the world’s gravest problem”.\n\n“We shouldn't allow the climate zealots to misrepresent the facts because compromising our economic fundamentals to strike a pose overseas is a betrayal of our countries future security,” said Ms Credlin.\n\nImage: Getty\n So true credlin CREDLIN PULL YOUR HEAD IN Odd. High Court decision should have been 'put to the people in a referendum' | Sky News AustraliaThe Australian’s Legal Affairs editor Chris Merritt says Tuesday’s high court judgement that Aboriginal Australians cannot be deported even if they’re not Australian citizens has “elevated a racial distinction to a point of constitutional privilege”.\n\nThe government was seeking to deport Daniel Love and Brendan Thoms for serious crimes committed while in Australia.\n\nBoth men were born overseas with neither holding Australian citizenship, but they self-identified as Indigenous and argued they should not be considered aliens under immigration law. \n\nThe High Court ruled in their favour - declaring Aboriginal Australians have a 'special connection' to the country and can not be deported regardless of citizenship status.\n\nMr Merritt told Sky News host Peta Credlin the decision “would have never been accepted if it were put to the people in a referendum”.\n\n“It limits the ability of the federal government to protect Australians from foreign criminals,” he said.\n\nImage: Associated Press White guilt... Why is Josh Frydenberg still in parliament? He's a DUAL citizen. They were here 60,000 years ago, when did Chris Merritt arrive on the scene?
