New figures show the Prime Minister made 17 international trips to 19 nations during his first 15 months in office.

Scott Morrison has become Australia’s highest-flying new Prime Minister, spending more than $3 million on international flights and accommodation during his first 15 months in office.in his first year in office than each of his predecessors.

Figures released by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Defence show Scott Morrison’s State Visit to the United States of America was his most expensive international trip, costing $527,840, including $328,176 in Royal Australian Air Force flights. The visit, in September 2019, was the first abroad by a Prime Minister onboard the new KC-30A aircraft, dubbed ‘Shark One’ by Scott Morrison’s aides.

The spokesperson said the travel schedule included “additional trips to the usual Prime Ministerial schedule” and did not include deducting the cost of journalists accompanying the Prime Minister on overseas visits.EPA “I mean, I don't think it's a question of ‘either’ ‘or’, I look forward to a time where you can do both.”

Dumb and dumber..in no particular order 😎👍

Mr Morrison just saying or typing them words makes me feel ashamed, ashamed for what this country once was, and now has become a blatinly corrupt institution where the media's propaganda and big corporations lay awast to spineless greedy cowards, who care nothing about any of us.

Good thing we can't afford social security for people

RonniSalt 42k for a day trip to Auckland

LyndaFrench19 Morrison travel overseas how many times Also Morrison start 2020 went overseas holiday when bushfire was hit regional Australia so Morrison said also when virus spreading fast Morrison said Australia will be ok has Murdoch lost their memory?

Another example of poor state of journalism in Australia. At least there’s a list of where he went. But no analysis of whether trips were valuable or what he did at any of them. There’s no view as to which ones were unjustified just an insinuation the cost was 2 much.

Salesman to the end.

RonniSalt No value for money with this bloke. Time to wake Australians. He’s full of slogans with no substance. The money never materialised during bushfires. Just setting up his mates for future rorts.

But can't make a trip to parliament

RBJRON With ScuMo it's all perks, no job.

So the family vacation to Hawaii via New York is not part of it.

The biggest rorter around!

We are not all in this together. He is just out to get whatever he can, like all the politicians ScottMorrisonMP australia auspol coronavirus ScottyFromMarketing

Businessman and bankers fly more than this. He's the head of a country so it makes sense he should be out and about.

RonniSalt Need to see breakdown. Hawaii in there? Any other Hawaii’s in there?

17 international trips to 19 nations. Is it just me? It doesn’t read well

And

He came back with giant smirk each return.

Leaner, grifter, bum JobShirker He is useless beyond belief.

RonniSalt ScottyFromMarketing loves a photo op

WGAF? More importantly these trips will not be happening: Australian ISIS brides and their children trapped in Syria WON'T be brought back home. SBS parasites can organise a whip around in their staff canteen

Scotty is a frequent flyer tart...

samesam02 Doesn’t know how to use zoom!!! 🤦‍♂️

ScottyLovesThePerks

That's more often than once a month. No wonder he's missing half the time. All that jet lag!

What a dull story.

How is this fucking news ? He is the prime minister that is his bloody job ...

That’s our money.

The PM most concerns whether he is forgot by the world. Not people on this land.

And hardly any trips to his actual place of work.

If only he had got lost on the way back ... AustraliasMostUnwanted

He is the Prime Minister for goodness sake, where do you think he should go?

And the problem is ?

RonniSalt

And now this

Perhaps it’s a carry over from his highly successful Tourism job?

No wonder it feels like he’s always on holidays

After missing out for all those years, Scotty, Jen and the kids can finally get to all the exotic destinations they could only ever dream about ... on the taxpayer coin. Their Jesus rewards the prosperous.

Look to be fair given the revolving door of PM’s in Australia’s recent history, he really is just acting like a kid on his gap year on a European Kontiki tour trying to pack in as many countries as possible before year and time’s up and he has to get an education or a real job.

RonniSalt And annoyingly he came back each and every sodding time...

He certainly didn't spend the time fixing the problems in private aged care, after the deaths in Sydney in March.

RonniSalt Where the bloody hell wasn’t he?

How many days in Parliament? ScottMorrisonPM

🤬🤬🤬🤬 MorrisonMustGo

Biggest spending PM ever. And how many friends of his tagged along Does that include ALL of his holidays?

JBell100099 No wonder he didn't have time to have parliament sit. auspol MSM

Of course he did. ScottMorrisonMP thinks he’s something special but having spent over 30 years working in proximity to Australian & Foreign Prime Ministers, Presidents, Royalty and International Statesmen I can assure you that he’s little more than a blowhard wanna be! auspol

Great to see him doing his job. You can’t negotiate international trade agreements from the office.

KleinRevd Tweedle Dumb n Tweedle Dumber

phbarratt Grifter and leaner.

and?

This includes Hawaii, right?

But not to China

Wish he stayed in hawaii the muppet

Fly economy Mr Prime Minister.

What a greedy selfish leach; but then, that’s what i’d expect from a member of the liberal party, liberal in spending the nation’s money on a good time for him self and his hangers on.

I'm fine with this, regarless of political party, or how well or poorly they're doing. Of course our PM needs to represent Australia to the global market. I don't know what SBS is insinuating here.

It would be ok if our relationships with important trading partners were improving. But we’ve lost the biggest one, am getting screwed over by our American cousins and haven’t capitalised on the Brexit mess with the UK. So he’s just had a lot of holidays. What a shocker 🙄

All we need in this story now is this handy prop

Dumb and dumber?

This leech is having the time of his life milking it for as much as he can.

Meanwhile $40 a day Newstart.

Loves a holiday

same same

'Scott on holiday'. If there was a movie about his career, that would be the title.

Scott Morrison, Daniel Andrews in text message debacleA bitter blame game has erupted between the Federal and State governments over Victoria’s outbreak, with officials labelling it a “sh*tshow.” Disaster Dan trying to deflecxt the blame We know who is incompetent Dan ResignDanielAndrews Fed Govt dealt with Newmarch House. After AC Royal Commission and Senate Inquiry into Newmarch House..seems no lessons learned. This second wave is purely the result of bungled quarantine and the BLM protest, and sits fair and square on Denial Andrews shoulders. First he blames the Victorian people, now the federal government. He is an incompetent twerp. Time to go.

Scott Morrison cleared to 'continue with plans' after staff member's link to coronavirus caseOne of Scott Morrison's senior advisers has gone into self-quarantine after being linked to a COVID-19 case, though medical authorities say the Prime Minister is fine to 'continue with his plans'. Might be Rabies But did he have the CovidSafe app on his phone? Since his plans consist of doing sweet FA, I guess that’s fine.

Scott Morrison’s 'deflect blame, take the credit' shtick is wearing thinEven Scott Morrison’s harshest critics admit that the Prime Minister has not been hamstrung by ideology in responding to COVID-19. You have to be joking? They are pushing Thatchers libertarianism as the way out of the Covid crisis FFS - including removing worker protections. Excellent article from vanbadham Crap article. Would far rather scomo than disaster dan About time that a journalist has actually identified the responsibility of the Federal government in this situation in Victoria. The PM washes his hands of this and nobody has questioned him.
