When are they going to do anything about it? Like call another election?

Don't forget about Clive Palmer... 80 million to keep them in power and score a new mine!

I don’t believe it was all donated it was siphoned off taxpayers.

...nothing to do with Labor being sh*t?

Yes labour only had China in their pocket

Shorten was a dud. Wouldn’t matter who had more money

If this government is so corrupt, at what stage can the queen step in and oust them? justaskingforafriend

Lib - $165m; Lab - $125m. What an utter utter waste of money.

Oh...so Clive Palmer is such a genius that his $80Mil didn't 'buy' a single seat (or more than a few % of the vote) but it delivered govt for the LNP. Poor lefties...keep coming up with excuses...maybe ppl just don't actually want or agree with your boring self-righteousness...

For crying out loud! Can’t we just ban political donations altogether? It would have the dual benefits of making parties focus on policy rather than spin and reducing the insulting election advertising that makes us lose ever more respect for politics. auspoI

Oh duh. And you're saying that most people were influenced more by The LNP advertisements than by being turned off by the stupidity and Far Left Agendas of the Labor/Greens?

The standard you walk past is the standard you uphold Scott Morrison if you want to run the country or if you betray your country you should be sacked ohhhhhhh

Evryone was that scared of Bills policies!

Bribery always works

The thing that helped ScottyFromMarketing get into power was Bill Shortens policies

and yet only won by 1 seat

I hope Scott Morrison crushes the ABC.

Ive had a mass culling of ALL RWNJ,s in this thread 🤗🤗

all political donations should be band, let play on merrit.

and Labour had billy care of the abc

More like Labors poor policies & their inability to explain the costing of them helped Scott Morrison win power.

More bias headlines by our .

Well ur kidding it wasn’t the so called war chest it was labours poor leftist ideology that scared everyone to the libs fakenews Propaganda auspol

Not to mention the fact that one of their major donors the Cormack Foundation, also backs Family First and the Lib Dems... 'The financial links might also play out politically with increased collaboration on preference deals and voting in support of each other in the Senate.'

Palmer 60million Sports rorts 100million Slime chest 165million Lies uncountable Robbing the NDIS to cook the books.

Well, they backed the wrong horse, now we are all suffering at the hands of this bunch or brain dead morons. I can guess where most of this money came from, coal and religion, both big businesses.

Rubbish

that was on top of $100mils gov fund for sports rorts They were blatantly buying votes n put up so much crap ads to dupe us

No he won the election because Bill Shorten was Labour Leader

I’m so sick of headlines like this! They surpassed ALP by $40m! But that’s not in the headline! Shit stirring to get reactions!

Not to mention using federal govt funds to hold a fake inquiry into an opposition policy (and using it to drum up business for an MP's cousin's financial services firm). LNP has no shame.

Simple fact is even if Labour had $165million war chest they wouldn’t win an election

$165 million sure buys a lot of puppetry

Why do we have to wait months for this information? Why is it not revealed in real time?

Alternate headline: Electoral commission reveals $90m war chest that didn't help Clive Palmer win anything.

Not exactly a fair election. Not exactly, with entitlements.
