We have to live with the coronavirus for a long time so we must find a way of living with it while keeping the momentum going within the economy, Business Council of Australia CEO Jennifer Westacott says. “General consensus is we are two years away from a vaccine,” Ms Westacott told Sky News. “We have to learn from what mistakes have been made and so we have to put in place the systems.
“Whether it’s quarantine, border control or local lockdowns. A recent spike in cases in Victoria has forced states to close borders, which has heavily affected businesses around the economy.
