Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy says the people of Victoria 'just want answers, honest answers about what's going on'.

Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy says the people of Victoria "just want answers, honest answers about what's going on". An inquiry into Victoria's hotel quarantine system is due to start on July 20, but has received criticism for not having the power to compel testimony. Mr Conroy told Sky News on Saturday he believed the inquiry would get to the bottom of the issues, despite not having powers of compulsion.

"I can't imagine a state minister or a state public servant would not want to answer the questions, and if one of the companies involved try and avoid answering a question I think they would be placing themselves in commercial difficulty going forward as a company," he said.

The answer is - Victoria is full of idiots from the leader down. When an attack is threatening one takes action at once not after the event.

Yes we'll that's not happening. DanielAndrewsMP lied from the start why change? Why expect something different? Expose, expose, expose with the truth.

Victoria is the covid state

And in 3 months time.... For a cost of 3 million $.... Dan will tell them the ‘truth’

Answer is '🇨🇳 China lie, Australian die'.

And Dan is telling it straight!

I just read that tweet in my Stephen Conroy voice, & I found it hilarious 🤣

FatherBob They get honest answers at every Dan Andrews press conference (as opposed to Morrison who smugly refuses to answer questions that he doesn’t like)

Maybe Conroy should watch the news?

What the Fk don’t they understand? Do they live under rocks? Arrogant fkers 🖕🏾

MOST Australians aren’t stupid we know we are only getting minimum information causes more division Cover ups about the protest, selected culturally run businesses & institutions such as meat works & schools Australia is the best place to live, respect others & uphold the values

what's that comrade 🤔

Simple a new virus, that had no pre-existing precedent, but a lot of hindsight.....

Well then don’t ask a politician.

That Andrews is a moron ? We already know that !

And we care what he thinks because?

Yes Mr Conroy, The Victorian people want answers, but Daniel Andrews has made it an art of covering up the truth by delaying its investigation. A perfect example - the 'Red Shirts' debacle. His pigeons are coming home to roost, at least I hope so!

The Answer is ,dimsim dan has lost control

Honest news, they're not watching Sky then

Here's the truth!

Good luck in getting any truth from the leftist labor criminals.

You know that there's stuff happening outside Victoria right?

Get back to spruiking industry super funds chump.

It takes an ex labour guy to finally speak some truth about incompetent Victorian government

With more testing, of course our numbers have spiked & if the ppl in charge didn't allow those protests to happen, we would of been alright. I think now we just have to be patience. damned if u do.. damned if you dont..

Victorian outbreak keeping Australia in a ‘limbo land of suppression’ | Sky News AustraliaAustralia must eliminate the virus in order to avoid living in a “limbo land of suppression” triggered by low levels of community transmission, according to Melbourne University epidemiologist Professor Tony Blakely.\n\nVictoria has recorded another 165 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours taking the state’s total active cases to just under 900, with 41 people currently in hospital.\n\nMr Blakely said Victoria “did have low grade community transmissions so we were going to get the virus breaking out at some point”.\n\nHe said the outbreak had “been brought forward in time and with greater intensity because of the muck up with the quarantine whereby it leaked out through the security guards into the north-western suburbs”.\n\n“This is a really bad situation for Victoria which stands out like a sore thumb” while other states have successfully eliminated the virus, he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. \n\n“We need to actually make use of this lockdown and go a lot harder and see if we can get rid of the virus, get Australia completely clear of it and then we can live in a relatively open manner until such a time as a vaccine arrives”.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia What makes us special, other countries are coming out of this just fine We should so ride unicorns around and spread fairy dust across the rainbows What happens when we open the international border again?
